1971
Van Os Medical was established in 1971 and has grown and grown since then with many new outlets starting up around the world. The primary focus at this time was selling medical equipment and nursing supplies mainly to the south west of the Netherlands.

1979
Demand for products increases and Van Os Medical becomes much more involved with the rehabilitation side of products.

1985
Van Os Medical becomes the official import for Poirier medical supplies, which helps increase sales across the whole of the Netherlands, and establish the Van Os name.

1989
The Excel brand is introduced, based on in house ideas, which allowed the company to start delivering our ‘own’ products to the market place.

1992
The Excel 200 is introduced, a highly succesfully chair which laid the groundwork for many of our chairs today.

1995
Van Os Medical take its first step in to 'motorised devices' by introducing the Travelux scooter range.

1999
A widening of the product range as wel as selling in to multiple countries enables the sales of Excel wheelchairs to reach 50,000.

2004
Van Os Medical Taiwan, now a key part of the group, allowing us to carefully control how and where our products are made, and oversee the whole procedure, and ensure the highest quality checks. It also acts as a hub for sending to international customers.

2005
Adding as another international base, Van Os Medical opens in France. Whilst Headquarters move to a new location in Steenbergen.

2006
Another milestone is reached as sales of wheelchairs reaches 150,000

2008
Van Os Medical UK opens at the start of 2008 and operates from Selby, North Yorkshire

2010
After a highly successful 2 years, Van Os Medical UK moves to a much larger warehouse allowing us to offer even better service four our customers.
