Back tensioner (new models)
A back tensioner is an accessory that ensures that the backrest remains taut when someone sits down in the wheelchair. The back tensioner is attached to the back tubes of your wheelchair. When you have your wheelchair in the unfolded position, you can secure the back tensioner for the new models by pulling the back tensioner upwards. When you hear a confirming click, you know that the back tensioner is properly unfolded and this provides extra support to the backrest.
The back tensioner is supplied as standard on a wheelchair. Because the accessory comes standard, there is no price with this item.
